On September 20, the signing and unveiling ceremony for the Vocational Competence Training Center (Foshan) for Embodied AI Robot Application Technicians (Humanoid Robots) was held at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Foshan) Embodied AI Robot Data Training Center.
This center serves as the nation's first assessment site for the "Embodied Intelligent Robot Application Technician (Humanoid Robot)" vocational competency level—an initiative under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Education and Examination Center. The center's inaugural training course launched on the same day, marking a shift in talent development for embodied intelligence from the "standard-setting" phase to a new stage of "industry integration."
